This photo was taken along a real path beside the Don river that Katherine and I followed. We'd go on to startle two deer only a few hundred metres from this spot.

Amusingly, the branches and the lighter portion of the greenery in which she is standing seem to suggest an illusionary path that leads up into the upper-right corner of the frame.
