the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2003.12.26

The weather was beautiful, today. Bright and clear and sunny. I spent the day playing Civ 3 on my new PC.

I'd tried to get into the spirit of Boxing Day by gathering a box of goods for charity (the origin of the name, I'm told). But I did such a good job of purging my closets for my 2002 move that I had nothing to get rid of. Ah well, it's the thought that... hrrm.

My girlfriend and I got together in the evening and took it easy. For tomorrow we pack.
