A strange day, today. One job lead ended, but no fewer than three resulted from people contacting me. It looks like things are picking up in the IT world, at last.
Meanwhile, it seems that once again the strange rule of free cable TV applies; get cable Internet and you get as many TV channels as the previous tenant(s) had, for free.
