catching up with old colleagues

Met with Tamara Atkin from my Medialinx days for coffee this aft. She seemed happy; she's converting to Catholicism for her fiancee.
After hours, I met with David Kang, Lui Bove, Ching Lee and Patrick Wong from my Trimark days (e.g. six-eight years ago!). We compared notes on the last few years of our lives: David said he'd been at Trimark (now AIM) for 9 years; Lui said he'd been there for 10! There was plenty of talk about yet another round of layoffs, just a week before. And, of course, the AIM/Brandes suit, in which some of the individual employees named are being sued for $1m!
