sneaking around the sea wall

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Vancouver, 2002.02.26

Went out tonight with my camera and tripod, as I often do just before sunset. Took a number of shots as I made my way around the sea wall. To my amazement, the gate that's blocked off most of the route around the wall since the wind storm in December was open! I decided to walk all the way around, and came to regret not bringing extra film. I missed some great shots; it's a beautiful walk at that time of night!

rand()m quote

You have to choose between trusting to the natural stability of gold and the natural stability of the honesty and intelligence of the members of the Government. And, with due respect for these gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the Capitalist system lasts, to vote for gold.

—George Bernard Shaw
