movie review - Happy Texas

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Vancouver, 2001.11.08

This is a movie about three escaped convicts and their adventures in the small town of Happy, Texas. Two of them wind up masquerading as a gay couple in the small Texas town to do the kid's beauty pageant. It's a decent story, and it's got a great supporting cast. This flick stood up to a second viewing quite well. Strongly recommended.
