walking in the city with nothing else to do

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Vancouver, 2001.09.01

At around 1:00 PM I left for a walk. I wound up walking from the west end, over the Burrard bridge, and as far west as the University. Took me over three hours. At my pace, that was probably fifteen to seventeen kilometres. Now I'm sore, but I know a lot more about the city. It's actually quite a beautiful town.

I went out and took some shots around English Bay last night, at around 10:30 PM. Night time photography, with long exposures like two minutes.
