And now, the shopping for housewares. I've got myself a set of knives. Let's see if I can start cooking for once in my life...
Fun retro fact: I did start cooking. As of 2016, I still have the knives, and they're in pretty good shape. And guess what, thirty-year-old me, your wife loves it when you sharpen them for her. In fact, during the first years of our life together, I did most of the cooking, because she worked long hours. As is the culture in her native Japan, where you lived for five years! Oh, and you have two kids.
