Read a charming story about a 54-year-old woman in Ottawa. She fell into a snowbank at a busy intersection, and was too weak - thanks to some recent surgery - to get up. She froze to death, at some point over the three days she spent in that snowbank. No one seemed to notice.
What an accomplishment, this mobile, self-congratulatory society we've built.
