movie review - The Dinner Game

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Sydney, 2000.06.30

Another French, subtitled movie, about a pack of assholes who run a dinner game, wherein each member invites an 'idiot' to dinner. One of the players finds himself paired up with his idiot as his life falls to pieces around him. The disaster-prone 'idiot' manages the dismantling with remarkable ease. This movie is so funny my stomach muscles still hurt from laughing. See it!

Recommended.
