This is a typical Atom Egoyan film. A bus full of children swerves off a road and onto a frozen lake. It then crashes through, and a bunch of kids die. Then the families start to sue, and everything goes to hell. Typically, the lawyer who arrives to feed on the proceedings has his own miserable problems to contend with.
