I don't know what happened to Heinlein but I picked this up because it swept the Sci-Fi awards and I was disappointed. There was plenty to like about the setting but the raging sexism and pathetic absence of plot is too much. I mean who cares about communal polygamy to the extent that the concept and its cringey workings takes over a book.

How the hell did this win four major sci-fi awards? I think the author had lost his marbles at this point.

👎🏽 not recommended!
