Here's a close-up of the last shot, a trick of my handy scanner. Note the excellent grain in the Ilford SP2 film. Perhaps that's a measure of the purposeful two-stop overexposure? In any event, I find the cluster of photographers on the beach an interesting site you don't see every day. I can spot at least seven people with cameras in their hands in this pic; I wonder how many there were in the area.
