the ill-fated Momentum watch

Toronto, 2011.05.68

Once upon a time I bought a "made in Canada" Momentum watch. After having a couple of straps fall apart I bought their bracelet for it as well. When it stopped working and I sent it to them through the store, they sent it back un-repaired. Somehow the watch company is still around and the store - the Mountain-Equipment Co-op - is gone. Until this point in my watch journey I'd had only quartz watches. After this I went without a watch for three years. My next was the first automatic (mechanical) and the beginning of my getting more serious about watches. I currently (2022) have nine of them.
