There was a party of folks visiting from Manitoba while we waited for the bore to arrive. There was one fellow who seemed pretty unimpressed. "Tidal bore is right," he remarked, repeating it often, perhaps in hopes of getting a response. "Brave words for someone from Manitoba," I thought. Anyway, these aren't the Manitobans. These are Charlie and Chako waiting for the bore. While it very nearly arrived at the time printed on the schedule (clever hydrologists), we were early. It was a bit of a chore to stay focussed.
