a family of rare rock people

Nova Scotia, 2003.10.25

A family makes its way over the rocks at Peggy's Cove. I like the starkness of this one - my camera's meter is 'centre-weighted', which means it takes a reading of the centre of the shot and tries to adjust the exposure to make that centre part 18% grey. In this case, I think it caught the rocks just below the horizon.
