I was taken out for an evening of "big fish" fishing with the Kids' grandfather and his cousin's son, who had a big rig. He'd put a baitfish on a massive hook, and set that up on a very long (but solid) rod set into a concrete seawall. We didn't catch anything, but apparently the first jerk on the line is so strong by these fish that one can't hold the rod. We're due to go out again before I leave - we'll see what happens!
