Kokubunji, 2021.05.09Our neighborhood was all farmland before Tokyo's population exploded. We're still chewing through it all, but you see patches like this all over the place. I'm pleased to see that someone's still farming almost all of it. The soil looks so rich. Mt Fuji is not far from here, it stands about two finger-widths tall on the horizon from our area. I could imagine that the soil has plenty of nutrients from the ash.
