This is the blasted ruin of the building that has been kept as-is in downtown Hiroshima. It stood underneath the blast point for the nuclear bomb, and remained standing because the shock waves from the weapon were coming down at right angl es to the walls (i.e. not pushing against the walls). I decided that I liekd this one better in black and white since the building itself is only shades of grey.
