Ireland, 1999.05I took this shot somewhere along the northern coast of Ulster, on the way to the Giant's Causeway. I was travelling with my then girlfriend and her distant cousins Harold and Cyril. Cyril, who was driving his new Golf, drove like a true Irishman; we made excellent time wherever we went. In any event, we stopped here for some reason, and I framed this shot. It's incredible how the Canadian maritimes look just the same.
It's also incredible that at this point in Ireland, I was farther north than anywhere I'd been in Canada.
