At Ste Marie among the Huron, they found a relic waterway. It\'s thought that it was a lock system used to allow safe unloading of the large canoes that came from Quebec to the distant colony in what\'s now central Ontario. I\'m not sure that any women ever actually made the trip, but on this day Kenny and Mari (upper left) watched just such a trip supposedly reach its end.
