Canada, 2003.10.27The bore continues its race up the river. Soon, the water would fill the banks completely, and would be running inland as fast as the river had been flowing towards the sea. The log on the river bank in the far right of this photo would be floated by the sea water, and pushed 'upriver' past the bridge.
This was the third or fourth time I've tried to catch the tidal bore, and I'm very pleased that we finally managed it.
