The Northern Territory is a big, beautiful, empty place. Look at the colours! Sleepy seems lost in the immensity, somehow. Note the hills on the horizon; those are the Olgas; rock formations that stick out of the desert. Speaking of which, when we arrived, the desert was going nuts with green growth and flowers in bloom. Apparently we were there during extremely wet weather for the region. There wasn't any water in the riverbeds, mind you (there were trees), but this was a lot wetter than I'd expected it to be!
