This was taken on the shore of Lake Ontario in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake ("nottle", as it's known in the region). I liked the combination of elements, here. You can't lose with a sky like that! If I recall correctly, I metered on the grass in taking this, figuring it best to keep the foreground detail and lose the distant sky rather than the reverse. A favourite for the year (2007) and certainly a pleasing result for a cheap lens from a developing country. Go Belarus!
