I was walking my bike to a "bicycle shop". Google Maps sent me first on a long walk next to a river, which was nice, then through a residential neighborhood, then down a lane and then the mowed path before you and the rickety bridge in the distance. Dear reader, I can assure you that as I carried my bike across it I noted that it was in exactly the state I expected: too poor for anyone to ride across but maybe eighteen months from collapsing outright. On the other side of the small island is a bridge in such poor shape that it's blocked on both sides. So, thanks Google Maps!
