We were wandering around in an archeological site in the prefecture of Miyazaki. It was the site of endless burial tombs, I suppose there was a period when anybody who was anybody got their body interred. Now we don't know who any of them were, except for a maybe the god-king/god-queen pair whose tombs are the size and shape of drumlins. Those are closed to everyone except the royal family, but this tree abides.
