This is the castle at Hiroshima, which was rebuilt after the destruction of the "A-bomb" blast. I liked this one for the surprising clarity and contrast throughout, which I think suit the subject matter quite well. I also like the way that the tourist showed up to serve my photo with some sense of scale.
