Akihabara is an odd place. I understand that it's been in flux for some years now, but the business of 'maids' and the otaku who love them seems to still be going strong. I took this photo back in late '05 when all of this was very new to me. You'll note that I took the colour of out most of the pic and then restored the colour to a few of the notable character that make up the scene.
