I came across this large relief map of two burial mounds in an archeological museum in the interior of Miyazaki prefecture. When the Yamato people arrived in Japan from Korea, they first came to Kyushu. Finding the coasts already populated, they first inhabited the interior. These are the tombs of one of their first "god" king/queen ruling couples.
