This was shot on a pedestrian thoroughfare under a small train station. The yellow stripe is for the use of blind people. The bike parking here is legal and not paid. The fellow on the ill-fit mamachari is riding on an off-rush-hour sidewalk, an irritating habit that bike users pursue here even in the busiest times of day. Note: by "small" station I mean it would be a notably landmark in Toronto, as it has two shopping towers including an excellent underground grocery market, several restaurants, a coffee roaster, etc, etc. The station serves one of the busiest train lines in the world but is still a moderately small affair by Tokyo standards.
