This pic was taken from the tower inside the third bailey of the castle complex. I find it pretty easy to get turned around in Japan, but I believe this was taken looking west/north-west over the main part of the city and out over the Seto inland sea. It was around 10:30 and already hot enough that the sweat was pouring off of us.
