This is my first XD/XD-11 body, which I picked up in Toronto in late 2003. I've always been impressed with its ability, and its design remains my favourite among all of the bodies I've used. The dials on the top and the shutter release in particular are .. perfect. The bright viewfinder and the excellent meter are superb even after ~35 years. I re-covered this one with a snake-skin leather from cameraleather.com, because the original leather was peeling pretty badly. This photo was taken some seven years later and though it's slowly gotten darker over the years, I think it looks better than ever.
