This was taken on the long shopping street that passes through northern Shinagawa in central Tokyo. The street is part of what used to be the \"Eastern Shore Highway\" if my kanji reading is correct: one of the five toll highways that fed Tokyo. The sun set in early evening as usual in Tokyo\'s mis-placed time zone, and the street was starting to come to life.
