Coming down from the road to the sand dunes at Tottori. There's a great dune next to the road, then another next to the shore. Between them is a low wet place where a creek surfaces briefly. One of the great things about a mixed overcast sky is that the sky becomes an excellent photographic prop. But with a few gaps in the cloud, you also get mixed lighting on the ground, such as this. Thanks the gods for my 20mm lens. What a happy find.
