This is the second in a trio of pics from Australia that are at their best together. It seems that I have good luck with photography in Melbourne. This shot was taken in a cafe-lined alleyway in that city, on a visit prior to the one on which I attempted the infra-red photography. This pic is on the list of favourites because it so well summarizes that trip; it rained incessantly and we spent a lot of time in cafes. I also like it for the combination of colours, the narrow focus, and the interesting composition.
