The Lomography Oktomat is a current (as of 2008, anyway) toy camera made of plastic. It features eight tiny lenses, each of which fires in sequence to record an image into 1/8 of a negative. These are timed so that each frame in the resulting photo is like a piece of a movie. It's got no meter whatsoever, and is fun to use.
