From 2006 - 2020 I used an early and inexpensive Pentax DSLR as my first digital camera. I gradually drifted back to film at first, and from 2014 to micro-four-thirds, which I still shoot today. But I've gotten back into Pentax and the DSLR in April of 2026 with a seventeen-year-old 14MP K-7. Neither DSLR could focus properly, but I reckon the limitations are part of the challenge.
