Woodend Conservation Area

This is a nature preserve between St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. It's a natural promontory of the escarpment, doubtless sculpted by many years of glacial ice, and later refined by erosion. It's a green refuge in an already-green district, home to a Carolinian forest and various critters.
