It seems that the people trying to solve the Fermi paradox are increasingly coming to the conclusion that we're utterly alone in the Universe. Which means we're likely fucking up the only planet we'll be able to inhabit without massive effort that will make life a misery.
So I'm glad that the environmental situation here on Earth is finally getting some attention.
