movie review - Murder Mystery

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

This is a good Adam Sandler movie. There, I said it. I would happily watch this again for its blend of charm, humor, and .. incredibly, a plot. The thing revolves around a couple that's been married for fifteen years (where my wife and I are at this point) who decide that they need to freshen up their marriage and do so by heading to the Mediterranean. Long story short, they're being framed for murder and have to survive on their wits. It's inelegant and has some obviously rough patches with things that might easily have been avoided but the charm of the leads carry it off.

Harmless fun. Recommended.
