Some day, I suspect that The Girl is going to ask: when you started this website, you made all kinds of posts. Then when I was born, things slowed down! You didn't write as much about me as you did The Boy!
And we'll have to say, "That's right. One financial crisis, one move to the other side of the world, and raising two children during a steeply inflationary period meant your parents had to scramble to make ends meet. Your Daddy was a busy executive, and your おかあさん had to do *everything* at home by herself.
