We discovered that someone's struck our car and driven away without telling us. It's the rear bumper, so it's not actual body damage, but the rumpled and scratched piece looks like crap. It only took 2 1/2 months of car ownership to have run afoul of this kind of person.
The Boy named the car Maebh after a character in a Doctor Who episode. It turns out that it means "she who intoxicates", which is perhaps a problematic name for a car but we're sticking to it.
