dodging ice patches on my bike

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2014.12.04

Looks like the wide, rugged tires on my Surly are just the thing for dodging or riding over patches of ice.

Three good things that happened today:

  1. I managed to connect a number of business contacts to one another. Two in particular were fun: someone looking to raise funds for a venture and someone looking for a new venture to promote
  2. Happiness is a warm audit report, when it's clean.
  3. Marzipan in the calendar again; who can complain?

rand()m quote

Selfish leaders increase risk by placing themselves first. It's a fundamental mistake to assume that what is good for us personally is mutually exclusive to what is good for everyone. That kind of zero-sum game is for cowards, and in the end, we all pay the price for this type of latent, toxic leadership.
