Internet advertising. I'm of deeply mixed feelings about this.

On the one hand I'm a believer in the theory that we shouldn't have to advertise too intensively if our product is right. But at the same time it's obvious that a new business has to advertise. And the various venues certainly make it easy to do. Without any kind of "gatekeeping", three different large-traffic sites are now running our ads: Facebook, Yahoo! Japan, and Google Japan.

I really didn't foresee the Internet. But then, neither did the computer industry. Not that that tells us very much of course - the computer industry didn't even foresee that the century was going to end.
