happy Tanabata

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tokyo, 2010.07.07

Today is the Japanese star festival, tanabata.

The event, sadly, doesn't add a holiday to the calendar for July. Perhaps because for a star festival, it's subject to the clouds and rain of Japan's rainy season, which starts a couple of weeks earlier. maybe the event should be moved to January of February, when the air is more clear.
