update from kamakura

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Tokyo, 2010.05.12

I've updated the collection of photos from a recent trip to Kamakura.

The updates are all black and white images, which I prefer to colour. Because I can no longer get expedient processing for black and white, however, it takes me more than a week to get my film back let alone scanned and processed. Hence the delays.

Three good things that happened today:

1. the intern came through again

2. came across an interesting lead on some (paying!) work

3. the morning's rain gave way to a rather nice afternoon—I took Kenny for a bit of a spin after picking him up from daycare and took photos

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.
