The shoes and boots arrived today. Two small problems.

1) The shoes are not a matched pair! They're close (see photo below) but I didn't notice that they didn't match until I was out in the bright light outside and in fact already in a train station. I've now worn them for about three hours but clearly they are not a matched pair.

2) The boots don't fit. I have to assume that they "fit big" because they are much larger than the shoes I wear of the same size. I will need to exchange or return them, based on the outcome of #1, above.

I can see how they would be mixed up in indoor lighting (I put them on, that way!) and understand the mistake. Now let's see what the vendor does.

Also, I should note that because I was importing leather goods, I had to pay ¥7000 in duty on these things, further complicating the issue.
