dundas square

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2004.11.20

They really are going nuts with 'developing' Dundas Square in Toronto. Even though the hoardings are still there on the NE corner (what's it been, now, six or seven years!), they've built yet another giant LED display on the square. This one is the largest ever. Now there are four of them, and they blot out what little light gets by the buildings. It looks like they're trying to ape Times Square.

rand()m quote

The point isn't revenge. It is justice. Revenge is like a wave that washes up on shore - it always washes back out again. Justice is like the shore - it's still there after the wave comes and goes.
