acupuncture

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2003.09.27

Being something of a masochist, I went for another round of shiatsu. I figured, it couldn't be as bad as last time - and the fellow had mentioned acupuncture - so what the hell.

It turned out that it was entirely acupuncture this time. And you know what? You can't spell acupuncture without puncture. No, I'm just kidding - it was painless. In fact, I felt amazingly better. For the first time in more than two years my right shoulder did not hurt at all.

After that, I went with the lady in my life - who'd decided last minute to have her own half-our session - to an excellent pub called Elsewhere, I think. Had the best burger I've ever had in Toronto.
