I managed to destroy my grandmother's teflon frying pan. It was the usual thing. I set a pan full of corn oil on the stove, then got engrossed in my game of SMAC. I heard the kind of 'foomp' sound you usually only hear in movies when a fire lights up, and sure enough, I was burning the pan.
